Back to the Mountains – Why I’m Returning to Ho

My first time in Ho was one of those unexpected invitations that ends up changing you. An old friend sent a car to pick me up and drive me out of town for the weekend. No big plans—just a break from the noise. But what I found in Ho was pure magic.
I remember the drive—how the trees got taller, the roads curled gently into the hills, and suddenly, the mountains felt like they were cradling us. That weekend, I fell in love with the Volta Region. The air felt different. Lighter. Kinder. The silence had depth.
Now, years later, I want to go back—not alone this time, but with people who need to feel that peace too. I want to take a group to Ho and show them the same beauty I first stumbled into. We’ll chase waterfalls, explore hidden forest paths, and visit the monkey sanctuary where mischief meets charm. We’ll let nature do what it does best—quiet the mind and open the heart.
Ho is more than just a destination. It’s a gentle reminder to slow down, breathe deeply, and listen. And I can’t wait to share that with others.
