Mixed Trip Safety Code (for Participants)

Welcome to Chariot Experiences! To ensure everyone feels safe, respected, and empowered to fully enjoy their journey, please read and agree to the following:

1. Respect Personal Boundaries:

• Always ask before initiating physical contact.
• No unwelcome flirting, touching, or comments about appearance.

2. Uphold Privacy:

• A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the Amount is required to secure a spot.
• Full payment is due 7 days before departure.
• Failure to complete payment may result in trip cancellation without refund.

3. Consent is Paramount:

• Consent is mandatory for all interactions beyond casual conversation.
• “No” and “Not Interested” must be immediately respected without pressure.

4. Support a Safe Space:

• Listen actively, treat everyone kindly, and avoid making anyone feel excluded, judged, or unsafe.

5. Zero Tolerance for Harassment or Discrimination:

• Any form of harassment (verbal, physical, emotional) will result in immediate removal from the trip at your expense.
• Respect cultural, religious, and personal differences without judgment.

6. Follow Trip Leader Instructions:

• o Always adhere to the guidance of Chariot Experiences trip leaders, especially regarding safety measures.

Note: By joining this trip, you acknowledge and agree to uphold these standards for the wellbeing of all travelers. We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates this code without refund.

Chariot Experiences Code of Conduct
At Chariot Experiences, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and empowering travel environment for all participants. Every traveler is expected to uphold the following standards:

Respect and Kindness

• Treat all participants, staff, and local communities with respect and kindness at all times.
• Disagreements should be handled maturely and respectfully; bullying, mocking, or passive aggression are not tolerated.

Consent and Boundaries

• Always seek verbal or clear consent before initiating personal interactions (e.g., touching, deep conversations).
• Do not intrude into personal space, belongings, or accommodations without permission.

Accommodation Etiquette

• Maintain respect for shared spaces and neighboring travelers.
• No unauthorized room visits, loud disturbances, or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated.

Inclusivity

• Respect all identities, including differences in gender, race, religion, nationality, sexuality, or ability.
• Promote an atmosphere where every voice can be heard and valued.

Substance Use

• Alcohol should be consumed responsibly.
• Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited on all trips.
• Drunkenness that leads to unsafe or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Harassment and Violence

• Harassment of any form (sexual, verbal, physical, emotional) is strictly forbidden.
• Acts of aggression or intimidation will result in immediate expulsion from the trip at the traveler’s own cost.

Safety First

• Follow all trip leader instructions, especially regarding curfews, buddy systems, and local regulations.
• Any injuries, incidents, or uncomfortable situations must be reported immediately to a trip leader.

Accountability

• If you are found in breach of this Code of Conduct, Chariot Experiences reserves the right to take appropriate action, up to and including removal from the trip without refund.
• Participants who cause harm may also be reported to local authorities if necessary.
